Bože, Otče milosrdenstva a útechy,
vchádzame pred Tvoju tvár so srdcom plným nepochopenia nad tragédiou, ktorá sa stala. Tma zla a násilia zasiahla miesto, kde mal vládnuť pokoj, poznanie a bezpečie. Pane, zúfalo Teba a Tvoju prítomnosť práve v tejto chvíli v Staškove potrebujú.
Prinášame pred Teba rodiny pozostalých – rodinu pani učiteľky aj rodinu mladej žiačky, ktorá v nemocnici podľahla svojim zraneniam. Pane, ich bolesť je neopísateľná a ľudské slová sú príliš malé na to, aby zahojili takú hlbokú ranu. Preto Ťa prosíme, aby si sám objal ich zranené a smútiace srdcia.
Rozpomíname sa na Tvoje slovo zo Žalmu 34, 19:
„Hospodin je blízko tým, čo majú skľúčené srdce, a zachraňuje tých, čo majú zdrveného ducha.“
Pane, buď im blízko. Keď prichádza noc a ticho, keď sa vynárajú otázky „prečo“ a keď je žiaľ neznesiteľný, buď ich skalou a útočiskom. Daj im pocítiť, že vo svojom smútku nie sú sami.
Modlíme sa aj za celú školu, za spolužiakov, učiteľov a všetkých, ktorých táto udalosť zasiahla a naplnila strachom či traumou. Vylej svoj pokoj, ktorý prevyšuje každý ľudský rozum, na každé vystrašené srdce.
Dnes plačeme s tými, čo plačú. Odovzdávame Ti duše zosnulých a prosíme Tvoju milosť a lásku, aby prevýšili všetku tmu tohto sveta. Pane Ježiši, Ty si to SVETLO, ktoré svieti v tmách a ktoré tma nepohltí. Dokáž to dnes mocne v životoch pozostalých aj v našich životoch.

God, Father of mercy and comfort,
We come before You with hearts struggling to comprehend the tragedy that has occurred. The darkness of evil and violence has struck a place where peace, learning, and safety ought to reign. Lord, we desperately need You and Your presence in Staškov at this very moment.
We bring before You the bereaved families—the family of the teacher and the family of the young student who succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. Lord, their pain is indescribable, and human words are too inadequate to heal such a deep wound. We therefore ask You to embrace their wounded and grieving hearts Yourself.
We recall Your word from Psalm 34:18:
"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."
Lord, draw near to them. When night and silence fall, when questions of "why" arise, and when the grief becomes unbearable, be their rock and refuge. Let them feel that they are not alone in their sorrow.
We also pray for the entire school—for the classmates, teachers, and everyone affected by this event and filled with fear or trauma. Pour out Your peace, which surpasses all human understanding, upon every frightened heart.
Today, we weep with those who weep. We entrust the souls of the departed to You and pray that Your grace and love may surpass all the darkness of this world. Lord Jesus, You are the LIGHT that shines in the darkness and that the darkness cannot overcome. Reveal this powerfully today in the lives of the bereaved and in our own lives.
